MIDCCA Brings VFX Focus to Marathi Cinema

The Maharashtra Immersive Digital Content Creators Association (MIDCCA) recently held an event called “Reimagining the Future: VFX in the World of Marathi Filmmaking.”

It brought together filmmakers, VFX experts, and industry leaders to discuss how technology is changing Marathi cinema.

Learning from Real Projects

The day began with case studies from popular films like Chhaava, Ved, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

Speakers showed how smart and cost-friendly VFX methods helped these movies stand out.

Workshops also gave a behind-the-scenes look at projects like Dashavatar and Raavrambha, explaining how VFX is planned and executed step by step.

Experts Share Their Views

The event saw key names from the industry, including Minister Uday Samant, actor Swapnil Joshi, Anand Bhanushali, and Milind D. Shinde.

Panel talks covered simple but important questions – how to make quality films on a tight budget, why VFX should be planned early, and how AI tools are now being used in filmmaking.

Sessions on storyboarding and VFX in ads added more practical tips for creators.

Looking Ahead

Along with knowledge, the event gave people a chance to connect – directors, producers, and studios discussed working together and taking Marathi cinema to a bigger audience.

Conclusion

The MIDCCA event showed that Marathi films are ready to dream bigger.

By mixing creativity with technology, the industry can tell stronger stories and reach viewers not just in Maharashtra, but across the world.
